FICAM at the MEM!

The MEM and FICAM are pleased to offer five days of adapted screenings, from 6:30 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.!

• Evening adapted for deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals, October 21
• Screening of the music videos Danse en corps and Slam au naturel with members of the Radisson Community Center, October 22
• Evening adapted for people with mental disabilities or neurodivergence, October 23
• Montreal premiere of Annie Leclair's film Les eaux calmes, co-screened with the Festival du nouveau cinéma and in collaboration with Moelle épinière et motricité Québec, October 24
• Evening adapted for people who are visually impaired or blind, October 25

All screenings are accessible to wheelchair users and the general public and presented in French with French subtitles or audio description.

L’Astralopithèque, a work by the art collective Cummings&Pifko, will be shown in the Cabaret from October 21 to 25. It is presented by the digital creation centre TOPO, which will also be setting up a demo area in Workshop 1 at the MEM under the theme, “Art, digital creation and well-being.” The area will include interactive installations, games, a virtual reality experience and websites.
