The MEM is opening its doors to teens! Come chill in our free spaces, discover our exhibitions and join in an activity.
For November, visit the Montréal exhibition and take part in a “find the fake” activity.
Can you believe EVERYTHING you see on TikTok or Instagram ? And what if some of the content you post on social media is totally fake, even though it seems really credible ? Join us at the MEM for an activity that takes a deep dive into fake news. With the help of your friends, you’ll figure out which surprising stories about Montréal are true and which are not. You’ll also get to invent your own fake news story. By the end, you’ll know how to spot the traps . . . and avoid being duped the next time a rumour pops up on your feed.
