Guido Molinari Foundation

Fiona Annis’ most recent work will be showcased in the exhibition Correspondences, from March 14 to May 19, 2024, where she will unveil a series of photographs based on epistolary archives composed of handwritten letters written over more than five decades: Paul-Émile Borduas, Dorothy Cameron, Danielle Corbeil, Claude Gauvreau, Cerj Lalonde, Rita Letendre, Robert Holland Murray, Barnett Newman, Rodolphe de Repentigny, Jean Paul Riopelle and Fernande Saint-Martin are among those who corresponded with Molinari; the painter, poet, teacher, theorist, polemicist, critic, husband and friend.

In addition to her works in the gallery, the exhibition is complemented by a series of public dialogues, a lighting intervention on the building's façade, and a sound component by guest artist Stéphane Cocke.
