Dorval museum of local history and heritage
Free bilingual presentation, presented by GUEPE (United Group of Educators, Naturalists, and Environmental Professionals)
Saturday, July 11, at 1:30 p.m. (60 minutes)
For the whole family - 8 years and older (children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult)
Registration is required.
Following the success of their ornithology presentation last year, the naturalists from GUEPE return to the Museum to unveil the mysteries of aquatic wildlife.
Come and meet the cetaceans that inhabit our majestic St. Lawrence River. From their impressive physical adaptations to their survival strategies, whales will hold no more secrets for you.

Dorval, More than Three Hundred Years of History!
Artefacts, photographs and multimedia installations come together in this permanent exhibition, which portrays the social and economic history of Dorval, from colonization to the present day.

Like a Fish in Water!
This exhibition was entirely produced by the Musée du Fjord, invites visitors into a fun marine environment. The path is filled with striking photographs, games for the entire family, an immersive zone revealing breathtaking images by filmmaker Alexandre Ruffin, educational videos, fun questions and common expressions.
Like a Fish in Water! addresses recent scientific discoveries which show that fish have no reason to compete with their terrestrial vertebrates! Your perception of our aquatic relations will be turned completely upside down.

This commemorative exhibition takes you back to the summer of 1976, recalling the historic passage of the Olympic torch relay to Montreal 50 years ago.
