VALENTINE’S TABLE

Maison St-Gabriel, historic site and museum

To find out about the mystery of the origins of the day we celebrate sweethearts, we invite you to gather around storyteller Éric Michaud’s table.

A lover of history, he shares with you about the life and times of St. Valentine, narrates about love’s ups and downs in New France and finally speaks about beliefs and superstitions associated to love.

With every history segment, Éric imparts a romantic tale from his repertoire. You will enjoy his humour and his talent as a storyteller.

A delicious and original way to fill up on history!

A very different version of what St. Valentine’s Feast Day has become, will include a meal that will be served at a 30-place table at Le Réfectoire.

Your ticket includes the meal, service and entertainment, followed by the guided tour of the Museum (in French).

Two services are offered:

- Meal from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and guided tour Winter in New France at 1 p.m.

- Meal from 1:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. and guided tour Winter in New France at 3:30 p.m.

Arrive a few minutes early so as not to delay the start of the event.

Please write to us at info@msgmusee.ca to inform us of any allergies.

Please note that if there are not enough participants one week before the activity, it may be canceled. You will be informed by email and can count on a full refund.
