DÉMONSTRATION DU MÉTIER DE CALLIGRAPHE AVEC LUC SAUCIER
Maison Nivard-De Saint-Dizier, museum and archeological site
This accomplished calligrapher will offer the public a most precious gift: a small bookmark on which the recipient’s name will be calligraphied—with slow, precise strokes—using the most elegant script created with antique quills. Accompanied by various works from his practice, this demonstration will allow visitors to learn more about this craft, which was once practiced by monk scribes.

ATELIER DE FABRICATION DE ROUE DE MÉDECINE À LA BIBLIOTHÈQUE DE PLAGE DE VERDUN
The artist and Wendat knowledge keeper Mélanie Savard will lead a workshop on making medicine wheels and discuss their importance in Native culture. The event will take place at the beach library on July 17, 2026, starting at 11 a.m. For ages 10 and up. Limited seats available.

Storyteller Francis Désilets will present his show "Histoire d’un soir" at the Maison Nivard–De Saint–Dizier on July 31. A not to be missed evening of tales, for adult audiences, starting at 7:30 p.m.

DÉMONSTRATION DE TECHNIQUES D'HORTICULTURE PALÉOHISTORIQUES AVEC MARTIN LOMINY
Archaeologist Martin Lominy will be at the Maison Nivard-De Saint-Dizier to give a demonstration on paleohistorical horticulture. He will explain indigenous techniques with enthusiasm and exceptional expertise.
