The exhibition «Maison Nivard-De Saint-Dizier» reveals the historical, architectural and archeological secrets of one of the oldest rural house from the French Regime and the largest pre-historical archeological site ever discovered on the island of Montréal, revealing a 5,500 years-old First Nations occupation. Its major collection of artifacts contributes toward a better understanding of the First Nations and the first inhabitants from New France, who settled ont the territory.
