Maison Nivard-De Saint-Dizier, museum and archeological site
The exhibition Carrefour de mémoires: les récits oubliés reveals the historical, architectural, and archaeological secrets of one of the oldest rural houses, as well as the largest prehistoric archaeological site on the island of Montréal, whose Indigenous occupation dates back nearly 6,000 years. The artifacts on display help shed light on the First Nations and the early inhabitants of New France who lived on this territory.
