Montreal's museums

The Afromuseum is a non profit institution that recocnize and raise konwledge of African and afrodescendant cultures. It highlight this heritage through numerous cultural expressions.

The Museum tells the story of Jewish life before, during and after the Holocaust. Montreal became home to proportionally the third largest community of Holocaust survivors in the world, after World War II. Thanks to their objects and testimonies, the visitor is encouraged to consider the implications of prejudice, racism and antisemitism.
