From seed preparation to food preservation, learn about the skills passed down through generations to ensure food self-sufficiency for local inhabitants.
Beginning in June, you can visit the urban kitchen garden where we grow many species of Quebec’s ancestral plants. You can even make a native seed bomb to encourage biodiversity and the presence of pollinators in your neighbourhood!

La Maison Le Ber-Le Moyne, un site, un rêve…
Built in 1669 for the fur trade, the Maison Le Ber-Le Moyne is a designated historical site. Inside visitors will find over 400 objects that illustrate its occupants’ everyday life, which throughout centuries.

One of Canada’s largest contemporary sculpture gardens. Visit the gardens and discover major works by artists such as André Fournelle, Michel Goulet, David Moore and Bill Vazan.

The Musée de Lachine is organizing a big harvest party! In the atmosphere of an agricultural fair, we're offering an afternoon of family activities. This event is in keeping with the theme of the temporary exhibition "Ça pousse! Une histoire à cultiver". And it's all free!
