What memories are harbored in the soil, in the waves that reach the shore? What lies beneath the foundations of our built environments? De terre et d’onde / This shore is a body is a world is a house brings together three artists whose practices examine our relationship to the land and our ways of inhabiting it. From historical, embodied, and poetic perspectives, their works invoke concepts of loss and belonging and act as catalysts for cultivating new possibilities of cohabitation on the land.
