Keith Haring in 3D
from May 15, 2027 to Sep 12, 2027
Montreal museum of fine arts
Keith Haring (1958–1990) believed that art was for everyone, and he wanted his work to be everywhere. During his short career—just a little over a decade long—he enlivened every surface he could with his instantly recognizable figures. He was first and foremost famous for his imagery, which he invented while making guerrilla drawings in the New York City subway, then brought to his large-scale murals. But his restless creativity was never confined to the flat surface.

Collections du Musée
The Museum’s rich collections are divided into six major sections distributed among the five pavilions of the Museum complex, each of which focusses on a particularly strong aspect of the holdings. Today, 158 years after its founding, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts is more forward-looking than ever! This institution is not a government-run museum, but relies on generous patrons for the expansion of its encyclopedic heritage collection, which has risen to a historic total of 43,000 works.
Permanent exhibition
