Through diverse approaches, styles, and themes, Shuvinai Ashoona, Padloo Samayualie, Daniel Barrow, Julie Doucet, Cynthia G. Renard, Shawn Kuruneru, Adrian Norvid, Bea Parsons, Rajni Perera, Walter Scott, and Connor Willumsen explore the complexities of our time, shedding light on the artist’s role, the psyche, and the spaces they navigate.
Each artist uses drawing in their own way to imagine new worlds that spark the imagination and awaken us to different realities.

In Praise of the Missing Image
The Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal (MAC) is co-presenting with MOMENTA the central exhibition of the 19th edition of the Biennale d’art contemporain, In Praise of the Missing Image. Curated by guest curator Marie-Ann Yemsi, this exhibition brings together works by artists Iván Argote, Maureen Gruben, Joyce Joumaa, Niap, Lee Shulman + Omar Victor Diop — The Anonymous Project, and Sanaz Sohrabi.
