The exhibition Faux-Folklore examines how our narratives are constructed and how memories shape what we know. Inspired by cultural, fictional, and memorial objects and figures, Rémi Belliveau, Kim Kölle Valentine, Jean-Michel Leclerc, and Alberto Porro make videos, drawings, and paintings that explore their identities through notions of truth and falsehoods, pastiches, simulacrum, and fiction.
