Working with Thread, from Past to Present (Guided tour From cellar to attic in English and animation)

Maison St-Gabriel, historic site and museum

Revisit local traditions during this activity featuring yarn work – from the transformation of wool to the creation of handmade items.

From the 17th to the 20th century, most women mastered techniques such as spinning, dyeing, felting, weaving, knitting, and crocheting. Today, there is a renewed interest in these crafts which have become hobbies.

Take advantage of this opportunity to talk with artisans who are passionate about their craft and try out old and more recent skills.

This is a not-to-be-missed event for both beginners and experts!

When booking your tickets, choose the time of the From the Cellar to the Attic guided tour you wish to take.

The guided tour of the gardens and the animation are included in your ticket. You can enjoy it before or after your visit to the House.
