Off-the-Wall Evening – Radium Revealed
Every season, the MEM invites visitors to a unique happy hour event. With music, drinks at the bar, and an original theme, the atmosphere is fun and relaxed. Welcome to off-the-wall evenings!
For this edition, discover the exhibition A Ray of Hope? The Institut du Radium de Montréal Against Cancer and allow yourself to be guided by the beams lighting up the museum. Once a symbol of modernity and exciting discoveries, radium fascinated people with its strange glow, promises and seemingly magical qualities.
This off-the-wall evening is inspired by this fascination — a mix of radiance, curiosities and stories that marked the 1900s. On the program: a retro musical ambiance from the past century, a cocktail of mysterious fluorescent emanations, and a challenge worthy of the greatest scientists.
