On Saturday October 11, we will be celebrating Science Literacy Week at the Redpath Museum! Join us for a workshop on sea turtles, polar bears and climate change, or at an interactive kiosk on Quebec’s biodiversity.
Interactive workshop: Protecting the Polar Bear and Sea Turtles habitat
Audience: age 10 and up
Length: 60 minutes

During this workshop on sea turtles and polar bears, we will explore their unique adaptations, natural habitats, and the impacts of climate change on their survival. To learn more about these animals, participants will be able to handle replicas from our educational collection, including claws, fur, paws, and shells. The workshop will conclude with a group discussion on practical ways we can help protect the habitats of these iconic species.

Discover Quebec's spectacular biodiversity, interact with real specimens, and immerse yourself in the life of a biologist.
