FIRE IN 1734 : MUSEUM INVESTIGATION (Guided tour From cellar to attic in English and animation)

Maison St-Gabriel, historic site and museum

On April 10, 1734, a major fire broke out in Ville-Marie, followed by a lengthy trial to find the culprit.

During that thematic day, the provost marshal and the executioner commission you to investigate the circumstances surrounding this crime. You must search the site and interview the presenters to gather facts and formulate your opinion.

You will discover the punishments used on convicts under the French Regime in accordance with the law in New France. With the help of artifacts, you will be able to see some of the disturbing instruments used on those who strayed from the straight and narrow!

When booking your tickets, choose the time of the From the Cellar to the Attic guided tour you wish to take.
