Digging in the futur

Historical site Marguerite-Bourgeoys

It's the year 3024, and Montreal is buried under waste. Your role as archaeologists is to embark on the discovery of this lost civilization. During this activity, our guides lead a excavation workshop in bins filled with 20th-century artifacts to provide an overview of the archaeologist's profession. The activity concludes with a visit to our archaeological site where the work of archaeologists has revealed the remains of Montreal's first stone chapel from the 17th century, a true gem of Old Montreal.

Free activity with the purchase of a museum ticket.

Free for ages 12 and under.

Ages 8 and above. Children must be accompanied by a parent.
