La Guilde, historical gallery and museum institution of Canadian art, has been preserving, promoting and encouraging fine crafts for more than one hundred years. Specializing in Inuit and First Nations art, La Guilde is a non-profit organization that is comprised of a permanent collection, one of the most influential in Canada, historically and culturally rich archives, an educational program with a broad outreach, and a gallery which draws together works by renowned and emerging artists. Situated in downtown Montreal, La Guilde's Gallery offers all of its customers high quality contemporary art.

From September 8 2017 to December 2 2018The exhibition is the result of a call for submissions for a work of art to be integrated into the architecture of a research station built in Ikaluktutiak (Cambridge Bay), Nunavut. The artists created works illustrating the contribution of traditional knowledge to the development of sciences and technologies of international caliber, still in use today, thus putting to light past and present Inuit peoples’ ingenuity and inventiveness (Qanuqtuurniq).
From July 26 to November 24 2018Throught this corpus of 10 artworks with abstract and ovoid shapes, distinctive of Northwest coast iconography , Sonny Assu creates questions about consumption, colonization and imperialism.
