Saint Joseph likes Montreal
From May 28 2017 to April 2 2018
This year, during the 375th anniversary of Montreal, founded in honour of the Virgin Mary, the Museum of Saint Joseph’s Oratory of Mount Royal dedicates an exhibition to Joseph, Mary’s husband. The imposing building, proudly erected on one of the summits of Mount Royal, is an icon of Montreal’s urban landscape. Yet Saint Joseph is no less mysterious. The exhibition aims to enlighten visitors on the life, work and heritage of this man who has fascinated many people and has been the subject of immense devotion, especially in Canada.
