De la cave au grenier
A guide recounts the daily life of the people who lived in this farmhouse, which has been perfectly preserved by the Congrégation de Notre-Dame since 1668.
The Maison Saint-Gabriel is one of the oldest witness of Montréal’s rural history. The heritage value of this architectural jewel of the French regime, also lies in its symbolic importance with the work of Marguerite Bourgeoys and the passage of the King’s Wards.
